Schools out!!!!

Commencement was saturday and now Keith is on vacation until June. He will teach the second semester of summer school to have time off before and after. So, time to relax a bit and enjoy the hot, steamy, muggy, humid, summer days. Oh well... at schools out.

I've been spending time on a site called GotPoetry.com. There are links to it on this blog. I've been posting poetry and even joined a couple page slams that will hopefully be starting soon. Once they start I'll let you know so anyone who wants to help me win can sign on and vote. You don't have to be a paid member to vote.

So a lot of my other online stuff has been pushed aside as I spend more and more time on the poet site. There is good and bad poetry there, just like any place else. We get to rate each others and leave comments and critiques. I do as many as I can and if I find one really bad I try to give the writer ideas on how to improve it. So, it works as a learning aid as well as a place to post and share your poetry. I may actually pay to become a paid member to get more of the benefits, but for now I'm content to post and get feedback and be able to join the slams.

At this point all is well here...knock wood!
